In 2016 Bloomsday in Melbourne, with the support of the Cultural Heritage Committee of the Celtic Club,  offers  a suite of events commemorating the Easter Rising.

Friday 15 April at 7.30pm. With Liam Gillespie and other readers and musicians, this is the most intimate account of the seismic shocks endured by the  Inner Circle who were either executed or lived to mourn a whole generation of young men and women.  It will be a solemn and ceremonial occasion.
