Bloomsday in Melbourne proudly presents a new, immersive theatrical experience, set in Paris and Dublin in 1903-4. How does a young nobody become the most lionized author of the twentieth century?
Let us take you through the stately rooms of the spookily atmospheric Victorian mansion Villa Alba to witness love, death, sex and violence… and the two powerful women who made James, Joyce.
Join us up close for this intimate, chilling and exhilarating experience. (Maximum audience 18.) Read more about the play...
Not suitable for children.
We have SOLD OUT of our 3-Event Package for Bloomsday (that's the play plus seminar plus dinner). However, we do still have tickets for the seminar plus dinner - and you can see the play at any time between Tuesday 15th and Sunday 27th. Or you can just come along for the seminar and skip dinner; or vice versa.
Join us for the SEMINAR at 4pm, Joyce and the Women. Speakers are Steve Carey and Frances Devlin-Glass. More about the seminar.
And then segue on to the DINNER at 6pm, with Joyce-themed entertainment. More information about the Dinner.
