LOVE'S BITTER MYSTERY

- THE YEAR THAT MADE

JAMES JOYCE

Written by Steve Carey and directed by Jennifer Sarah Dean

Tuesday 15 -Sunday 27 June 2021

Villa Alba, Kew

We are delighted to welcome you back to a LIVE Bloomsday production!

Bloomsday proudly presents a new, immersive theatrical experience, set in Paris and Dublin in 1903-4. How does a young nobody become the most lionized author of the twentieth century?

Let us take you through the stately rooms of the spookily atmospheric Victorian mansion Villa Alba to witness love, death, sex and violence… and the two powerful women who made James, Joyce.

Join us up close for this intimate, chilling and exhilarating experience. (Maximum audience 18.)

Not suitable for children.
